Curse of the golden flower at Vivo gold class.
My cousin came to my house to prepare to go and watch a movie at vivocity, which is the Curse of the Golden Flower. Since my mother is taking leave today, she want to treat the both of us to gold class at vivocity. So at 1230pm went striaght to vivocity.
So first ate lunch at food republic. I must say that $7 for a curry rice is DAMN EXPENSIVE!! I have been ripped of my money, lol. So after that went to the gold class lounge to wait for the time to pass by, order the food and wait for time to pass. At 3pm, the waiter told us that we can go inside the cinema, so we went in.
This time is in the front seat so have to lie all the way back. Its really cold in there, i should have brought my coat. Nevertheless found this show enjoyable. Kept eating potato wedges in the show, lol.
Curse of the Golden Flower is about an imperial family who has a HUGE family internal conflict in the family. I seen lots of family conflicts in shows, but not this one, this one is just crazy. Assasination, posioning, war in the imperial palace, wtf?? Its just insane. Chow yun fat acts as the emperor, he is a bad emperor as he marry the empress, who is acted by gong li, just to be the king. Now he posions her medicine to cure her so called "sickness", which she doesnt even have it. Then the craziness starts, the emperor wants to kill the empress and vice versa, brothers are fighting for the throne, and Prince Jie, who is acted by jay chou, wants to take revenge on his father for his mother. In the end all three brothers died. The idotic is still alive.
This is is nto bad, but i think "hero" is better than this show, which is also directed by the same director. Jay chou is not bad in this show, his acting skills is not bad, i thought he will go in there and rap and his dialouges. Anyway, i give a rating of 7.9/10.0 for this show.
After that went to eat at sushi tei for dinner, then fetch my cousin home. So we sat there for a while, then we went home liao. Today is quite fun, still love gold class, haha....
